How many people can stay?
Fallow Ridge Retreat sleeps two people in our deluxe king-sized bed.
Can I bring my pet?
Fallow Ridge Retreat sits on a working sheep and beef farm which means pets are strictly prohibited for their own safety and that of our stock and wildlife.
Are children allowed?
Given the luxury furnishings and unique location of Fallow Ridge Retreat, it is very much an adults-only accommodation. However, children over the age of 16 are welcome provided they are accompanied by an adult.
How do I get there?
Upon booking you will be sent a downloadable PDF containing all the logistical information. This can also be viewed on the Location page.
What do we need to bring?
Yourself and the company you choose! Maybe also clothing, walking footwear if you want to explore, food/drinks for lunch and dinner, togs for the outdoor bath (or not).
Do we bring our own food and beverages?
Breakfast is included in your stay, for other meals you are welcome to bring food to cook. Alternatively, you could order one of our Antipasto dinner platters for a truly relaxed stay. Hot beverages are also included, and a basic minibar is available. We tell you all about it here.
Basic pantry items are provided including: salt & pepper, olive oil, spices, balsamic vinegar and sauces.
What are the cooking facilities?
Fallow Ridge Retreat contains a 4 burner gas cooktop, oven, a bar fridge and all the usual kitchen equipment for preparing food. Plus a Weber BBQ on the deck.
What time is check in and check out?
Check in time is from 3pm and check out is 11am. Where possible we will try to cater for alternate timings.
Is there cell phone service and WIFI?
Unlimited WIFI is provided. Cell phone coverage can be patchy, some networks don't get any reception inside the cabin. We suggest enabling WIFI calling on your phone or going to the carpark to get reception.
Do you have a tv?
At Fallow Ridge we encourage guests to disconnect and embrace the still silence of nature. Therefore there is no TV.
